ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER
As a boy, David Da Costa was fascinated with exploration - specifically, space
exploration. He dreamed of adventure and alien creatures! Diving resonated with
this dream.
While he's dived in many exotic places, his favorite destinations are Saba and
Fiji. His photographic diving excursions reveal a deep respect for the natural world
and a fascination with the underwater universe. Since 2002, his images have been
captured with a digital Nikon D1x in SeaCam housing.
A native of Bournemouth, England, David met his wife Francoise in 1995 while diving in Cozumel, Mexico. They resided in New York City where David was Managing Director of a software company until 2005 when they moved to Los Angeles.
Between voyages to faraway places, David is pursuing his dream of establishing a business specialized in the production of highly detailed scale models of cars and other vehicles. To find out more, check out Scale Replicas.
